Happy Friday!!

I seriously can’t believe how long it’s been since I posted anything in here! I’ve been sick for the past 2 weeks and not having energy to do anything! Itsucked! I went to work and then class, did my homework and came home to sleep. That’s allll i did! I am feeling way better and got my energy back. While I was sick I got 200 of you beautiful daisies following me! What an amazing feeling! I couldn’t thank you guys enough! ❤ ❤ ❤ I also got nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by itsnaly and will try to do that this weekend! You all have been such a blessing in my life! I’ve made some amazing friends and look forward to meeting more! I have made an instagram page recently, add me justalittlebigofcoffee so I can follow you guys!

I have 3 more weeks of school left so that’s kind of stressing me out at this moment. I also got a second job couple days ago (will make a post about that soon) but haven’t started yet. I will be juggling school full time, homework, and 2 jobs for the next 3 weeks which will be a headache but after 3 weeks I will just be working at the new job and I will have wayyyyy more time to focus on blogging!

Anyway! Today I wanted to post a pinterest inspired outfit that I have been wanting to try since forever! The pictures below I found on pinterest! I love the slip dress look over a long sleeve turtleneck! It’s soooo cute and comfy at the same time! Also space buns are sooo adorable and I thought they would be perfect with my outfit!

Let me know what you guys thought of my styling? I have been using pinterest for my outfit inspirations at least 2 times a week! I have another one that I am thinking of recreating that is Tumblr inspired! With the weather being nicer and nicer everyday I think my motivation to actually go out and do stuff is coming back! I love you guys! XOXO! ❤

Chasing Sunsets During Fall

Chasing Sunsets During Fall

I know I know it’s been forever since I posted, but school finally started and with all the homework and work, I gotta learn how to balance everything! It’s not easy let me tell you that! I had my first accounting test today and this girl don’t  do numbers! I asked my boss if I could not come in to work today so I could have time to study some more before I take it. I am so glad I did! I went in to take the test so confident! I knew EVERY SINGLE question on the test! :0 Shocked? Yes I was too! Now I know some basics about income statements, balance sheets, and statement of retained earnings! (WHO AM I?)

Anyways, yesterday I had a chance to hang out with my cousin, since he was visiting, so we decided to go exploring downtown(ish) area. I was hoping to be able to wear tall boots and a cardigan but sadly it’s still in the 80’s here. Someone needs to notify the weather that it’s not summer anymore! I want to wear sweaters and beanies and boots EVERYDAY (no joke)!

Our first stop was Indaba Coffee. I had a free birthday drink I needed to use up so it was a perfect start to our adventure.

After getting some caffeine into our bodies we spent the rest of the day trying to catch the sunset. Sunsets are seriously my aesthetic! They are so breathtaking! So if I have time to sit down and enjoy it, that’s exactly what I do!

I bought the sweater at Macy’s and absolutely in love with how comfy and lightweight it is! The dress is thrifted but originally from Forever21. I got the lovely forest green fedora hat at Target and the booties are also from Macy’s! Thank you lovelies for reading ❤

First Apartment must haves!

First Apartment must haves!

I ended up moved into my first apartment 2 weeks ago. I know most people move out as soon as they hit 18 but I never really had a reason to move out of my parents home until now at age 26. In order to finish my Business Degree I have to take classes that aren’t offered at our small local college. So it was time to pack up and move to a bigger city. Never having to live on my own I had to start from scratch with all the furniture and appliances. Thankfully my sister decided to move in with me, so we could split the cost on everything.

I have made a list of thing that you will need for when you just move in. Hopefully this list helps you when you decide to move for the first time:

  1. Toilet paper
  2. Dish soap and sponges
  3. Spoons/forks/plates/cups
  4. Soap for the bathroom
  5. Paper towels
  6. Couches
  7. Table and chairs
  8. Door mat
  9. Cleaning supplies
  10. Trash can and trash bags
  11. Pots and pans
  12. Ziploc bags/aluminum foil/plastic wrap
  13. Cutting board
  14. Knifes/can opener/spatula/pizza cutter
  15. Shower curtain and rings to hold it
  16. Bath mats/towels/small trash can for the bathroom
  17. Laundry soap/fabric softener
  18. Vacuum cleaner/ floor mop/ broom and dustpan
  19. Toilet plunger
  20. First aid kit

I know I have missed a few things, if you can think of some, comment them below!

8 Fun things to do when you’re single

8 Fun things to do when you’re single

I am the kind of person that never puts thought into being single. I always keep myself busy with work, college, church, friends, family, mission trips, and road trips that I never really think about being in a relationship. I mean I am sure when the right guy comes around I will take that leap, but for now I am trying to better and grow my life and be where God wants me to be.

Down below I made a list of fun stuff I love doing, feel free to comment below and add to the list. 🙂

  1. Star gaze- My most favorite thing to do is stargazing. I love grabbing my blanket and pillow and heading out of town to a campground located a few minutes away. Lying there looking up at the stars and worship music playing on my phone makes me think how small we really are in this universe. All my troubles and worries seem to fade away. d6c4830e7b52c9431a305780cf9b5056
  2. Hiking- Lacing up hiking shoes, grabbing a water bottle, and heading out the door can be one of the best decisions you’ve ever done. I honestly think that being surrounded by nature is one of the best therapies ever. Arriving at the destination you planned on and standing on the top of the mountain or at the end of the trail is so peaceful and rewarding. It makes you feel like you can achieve ANYTHING!64fd1948265de2e02b812fe4bed47843
  3. Get a massage- Ahhh, just reading the word massage makes me automatically feel peaceful. Being a massage therapist I know how important a massage is for the body. Going and getting a full body massage once every 3 months is something I love doing for myself. I come out from my massage feeling like a whole new person! I am usually so relaxed that I head straight home and go to bed. Head massage
  4. Read a book- A perfect way to get away from reality is to get lost in a book. I wish I had time to do this more often. The thing about books is that they let you travel without moving your feet. Have you ever thought about how every reader that reads the same book sees the story different in their minds, but it’s the same book! reading-book
  5. Take an Epsom salt bubble bath- I try to have a eucalyptus Epsom salt bath at least 4 times a year. I schedule them so they are right after I am all done with finals and can relax without worrying about school. I grab my candles, get the bubbles, and turn on some soothing music. With the lights off and candles lit I start the bath and pour eucalyptus Epsom salt and the bubbles in. It’s soooooo relaxing!IMG_9166
  6. Try a new coffee shop- This is probably my second favorite thing to do. I wish I lived in a bigger city so I can do this more often. I honestly tried all the little coffee shops in my little small town, so it’s always fun when I get a chance to go to a bigger city and try new coffee shops. I love getting iced white chocolate hazelnut mocha’s in the summer and when it’s freezing outside I love my basic caramel lattes with extra whip cream and caramel drizzle.attachment
  7. Keep a Journal- I’ve had a journal or how I used to call it back in the day “diary”, since I was probably in 7th grade. I have maybe about 5 or 6 full journals since then, and I used to write in there almost every day and now since I’m an “adult” it’s hard to find time to fit in the writing. I love sitting down at the end of the day in bed with my journal and writing down my thoughts and feelings, it feels so good to get it out even if it is just on paper.tumblr_inline_nkfclfV7Nm1rg49br
  8. Go on a night drive with music playing- One of the perks of living in the country is being able to drive on a straight road for miles and miles with trees and fields on both sides of the road. I do this quite often. There are times when I want to be alone and get in my car at night, turn on some music and head to nowhere and just drive. I can’t even describe that feeling. Driving past fields at night and pulling over and looking at the stars and moon, it’s something I feel like I will never stop doing. It’s when I lose myself and at the same time find myself. 7f009b0475cb97aea813624be766ac83

There’s a lot more things, but I’d like to hear from you, in the comments below, let me know what are/were some of the best things to do when you are/were single! 🙂
